











Cheryl focuses her practice on serious personal injury claims, trucking and automobile accidents, traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, and wrongful death claims. She also pursues medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect cases, as well as claims against behavioral health facilities. Her attention to detail and strong advocacy for injured victims has secured life-changing results.
Cheryl’s early years as a lawyer were devoted to First Amendment and public interest issues. She was awarded the Reid Montgomery First Amendment/Freedom of Information Award by the South Carolina Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in 1986. She went on to practice appellate procedure for a number of years before focusing on catastrophic injury cases.
