$24.5 Million Price Fixing with Regard to Workers Compensation Insurance Premiums

The claim was for recoupment of losses sustained by employers who were squeezed into the Worker’s Compensation residual market. Motions and discovery lasted four years and the production of documents exceeded one million documents. The settlement consisted of a $24.5 million immediate cash payment plus future relief consisting of programs, incentives and discounts having a value of $8 million.
